The Daily Dose

Hello fellow riders and mechanics!

I wanted to take some time to share with you some of my years experience as a motorcycle rider and motorcycle mechanic. I’ve been riding and working on bikes for over 20 years now and have picked up a few tricks of the trade that I want to share with you.

First and foremost, let me start by telling you this; Motorcycle racing is a crazy, intense, and incredibly sophisticated sport. You don’t just jump into it without knowledge of the ins and outs of a motorcycle. Especially if you’re looking to make a career out of it. It takes a lot of dedication and practice to become a successful racing rider.

Moving on to the topic of motorcycle maintenance. This is an important subject that often falls by the wayside. Regular maintenance of your motorcycle is key in keeping it running smoothly and reliably. It can often be overlooked but it is essential in keeping your motorcycle safe and operational. Make sure to check your tires, brakes, fluids, and spark plugs regularly and keep them in a safe condition to avoid any potential disasters.

Now, onto some of the tips and tricks that I’ve picked up along the way! With experience and practice, these tips will help you to become a better motorcycle rider.

1. Take things slow – When it comes to riding, it is important to take it slow. Don’t try to push yourself and your bike to the limit when you’re learning. Take your time and learn at a comfortable and steady pace.

2. Be prepared – Before hitting the road, make sure you have all the necessary tools and supplies with you in case of an emergency breakdown. Carry a multi-tool, spare parts, a phone number of a local mechanic, and a spare key in case you lose yours.

3. Respect the laws – Make sure you obey all traffic laws in your area and never take any unnecessary risks while on the road. Pay attention to your surroundings and never get too comfortable.

Finally, make sure you have fun while you’re out there! That is the most important part. Motorcycle riding is a thrilling experience that can give you an adrenaline rush like no other. Keep safe and have a great time out there.

Well, that’s all the time I have for now. I hope this post has been informative and helpful to all of you fellow riders and mechanics out there. Ride safe!
